Worship at St. Patrick Church

To worship is to give over to God some time and energy. God responds in ways that are beyond our human understanding. At St. Patrick Church through our worship we are lifted up by God’s goodness to usand encouraged to live our lives as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Mass is celebrated at 9:30 a.m. On Holydays of Obligation, mass is at 6:30 p.m. For special Holydays, i.e. Christmas, Easter as well as Holy Week, the mass schedule is changed so both parishes (St. Patrick and St. Aloysius) may celebrate together.

Weddings, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Baptisms should be scheduled with Fr. Tod.  Please remember to contact us about six months prior to the anticipated date of your wedding.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is for adults who wish to become catholic. Because of the clustering with St. Aloysius, these classes are combined between the two parishes. If interested, please call Sister Grace Keane, OSF, for more information at 237-5810.

Confirmations are celebrated either in the parish or at the Cathedral depending on the needs of the individual seeking this sacrament.

The Sacrament of the Sick is celebrated upon contacting the parish office. This holy anointing can occur anywhere the sick person wants, e.g., hospital, nursing home, church. Holy Communion can be brought by lay ministers to a person who is in need.

The Rosary, Liturgy of the Hours, the Way of the Cross are non-Eucharistic liturgies that can be led by lay people working with the Worship Commission. This commission has responsibility for our worship together.

The Commission is always looking for people to work on projects, i.e., retreats, combined liturgies, etc. We are always seeking new lectors, ministers of the eucharist and acolytes. If interested in any of these, please contact us at the church office.

Funerals are celebrations of life and are personalized by Fr. Tod to fit the family’s needs.
